300 ml bottle, poured into a snifter. ABV 8,5%
Deep amber brown colour on the body, with nice activity in it, although the beer is dark enough to hide it. Nice sized head, soapy and thick with very good retention and a couple rings of lacing left around the glass.
Aroma is a bit weird but not so offensive. Roasted malts and mostlya smell of milky chocolate or a coffee with way too much milk.
Taste of light roasted malts and caramel. Moderate bitter. No trace of the high alcohol on the taste.
Medium thin body, carbonation slighty above average. Very dry on the palate, even from the first sip.
Not that bad, but not anything worth mentioning either, after a while it gets a bit boring and will be easily forgetable.

Thick creamy white head. Clear burgundy pour. Nice brew.

Bottle. Dark amber color. Caramel, cake and some floral notes in the aroma. Malty caramelly sweet flavor. Hints of roast and milk chocolate. Slightly alcoholic.

Sampled @ PINT Winterbierfestival Gouda 2013. Clear red-brown color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, dark fruits, lightly caramel. Ok beer. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle sampled at Gouda Winterbier festival. Pours clear amber with a tan head. Aroma of caramel, yeast, wheat and herbs. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft to moderate carbonation.

Bottle at 20th Winterbierfestival in Gouda. Beautiful bright and clear amner color, tan head. Aroma of spiced caramel and brown bread. Taste is caramel and light licorice candy. Nice.
