Served a hazy dark(er) brown color, topped with a small white head. Mix of light and dark beer. Malty aroma, some chocolate in there, some coffee notes too. Taste sweet, some mild notes of coffee in finish and also in aftertaste. Mild and non-offensive. Drinkable.

Gurthnar (3171) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAR 29, 2014
Tap at the brewery. Aroma is nicely roasty, light coffee, light caramel. Clear amber to brown colour. Off-white head, rather short duration. Taste is very well balanced, neither on the roasty, nor the caramel side. Instead the two play together as equals. Easy drinking, harmonious. Presumably the best beer of the day during my Vienna visit.
