riversideAK (1632), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jun 20, 2008 Golden and hazy. Aroma is pretty malty and a little sweet. Not a lot of hops to be found in the aroma. The trend continued with the flavor as I got more grainy sweet malt. The finish is mild and floral. Easy drinking and unobtrusive, but not how I like my IPA’s. HoppyGuy (105), USA May 6, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy deep gold with an off-white head. Aroma has a bit of citrus, with a hoppy highlight. The taste has pine overtones with pronounced hops. Smooth mouthfeel with a fairly smooth finish. A very good brew. I’d like to pair this beer with a pizza topped with pepperoni, italian sausage, onion, and a few mushrooms. Prost! bhensonb (3006), Woodland, California, USA Dec 18, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Primarily floral hop aroma. Nice amber color with a non-persisting white head. Quite floral mixed with citrus flavors. Caramel malt. Medium body with smooth medium carbonation. Finish is more bitter than not - as it should be. Very nice IPA, consumed in very nice surroundings. DA (2468), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Nov 25, 2007 On tap at the pub. Floral hoppy IPA like the PNW likes to deliver. Crisp and bitter in the finish. Sided more with a grainy bready malt start which made it feel like more of an English IPA. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 13, 2007 on tap-pours a disappearing white head and cloudy orange/brown color. Aroma is ? hops, fruity. Taste is ?/blended hops-slight bitterness, balanced medium malt-caramel, fruity, more like a pale ale with the solid malt presence. Nice beer, just a bit from style. The ? may be the yeast.
