Tasted on tap. A distinctly nutty aroma with almond/hazelnut prevalent. Taste very balanced, with nutty malt and lightly citrus hop notes. Though this beer has a sweet aroma, it doesn’t taste sweet. A very well done brown ale.

On draft a the Salmon River Brewery in McCall, ID this came in the glass a rich amber brown color with an off white head and very rich lacing rings. The nose is as the name implies very nutty, with lots of caramel hops and some floral hops. The body is medium and the mouthfeel is smooth and clean . The flavor is dominated by the nut flavor. The finish is a blend of biter and nuts. A really nice beer and I like it better than Rogue Nut Brown. Quite an achievement.
