Blazing gold with a sparkling hue and crisp body, this refreshing ale has biscuit malt flavours and a refined finish.

Gravity cask at the Walsall Camra, beer festival 2015. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is light zesty citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a lemon citrus, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

2nd April 2015: half-pint in The Station, Oakengates. Typical Salopian brew, clean, clear and golden body wise: this blonde had the usual snow white head also. Mild citrus notes in the aroma and taste (again often a Salopian trait). Slight malty hint within the flavour but this is a refreshing, hoppy, summer beer in my eyes

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Hazy gold beer, little bubbly white head. Light palate, a little crisp. Pleasant citrus - a little lemon orange. Tiny bit of fresh grapefruit bitterness coming through in the dry finish and in the aftertaste. Very drinkable easy going beer.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Queen Adelaide Northampton. A yellow coloured beer with a nice white head. A good citrussy beer. Lemony aroma. Good thick juicy hops in the mouth. Lots of citrus again. Well brewed beer.

[cask at Cask&Barrel Southside, Edinburgh] Slightly hazy straw yellow beer, very pale indeed. Thin white head. Sharp lemon aroma, some grapefruit – very pithy on the nose. Tasting, instantly reminded me of a Fyne Ales-esque Avalanche/Jarl crossover – bitter citrus fruit, some biscuit at the end, dry finish. Very nice [05082011]

On cask at the Cask and Barrel (Southside). A blonde ale with a thick and creamy white head. Super citrusy passion-fruit and mango aroma and flavour. A little sweet with a dry orange rind finish. Mild bitterness and a little soapy linger. I really enjoyed this one!

Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Gold with white head. There is a lovely, tangy hoppy aroma which follows through into the beer, grapefruit notes on a biscuity body. Very pleasant.
