Cask; Seasonal - May.

A contemporary twist on a mild, a dark opulence with a soft bitterness and toasty malts that delves into an ethereal crescendo of passion fruit, citrus and pine.

Cask at the Post Office Valults, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a bubbly light tan head. The aroma is citrus fruit, light floral hop, smoky malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, fresh grassy hop, light pepper spice, tropical citrus, light roasty palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. One of the most unusual and flavour packed beers I ever had.

BlackHaddock (5113) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2013
Hand-pulled half-pint during the 34th Telford Beer Festival at the Crown Inn, Oakengates on 4 May 2013. Ruby to dark brown body with an off-white head. Coffee and dark chocolate esters hit your nose and these follow on into the taste, this is a lovely malty yet dry tasting Mild. It has a bitter finish but not overly so: I found it most enjoyable, it is a long way from the old Milds that used to be seen all over the UK, this had more body and flavour thoughout.
