COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - May.

A contemporary twist on a mild, a dark opulence with a soft bitterness and toasty malts that delves into an ethereal crescendo of passion fruit, citrus and pine.

Cask at The Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. A clear brown colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of toasted and bready malts, a little perfume and slight grassy hops. Taste of toasted and bready malts, some caramel, a little fruit, subtle orange and slight grassy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, dusty, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. For a mild this is quite nice, decent malty flavours and some citrusy and grassy hops. However I would drink a beer like this normally, weird finish and very light.

Cask @ The Harp. Deep brown pour with a wisp of a white head. Nose is fairly inviting. Mellow toasted malt and nut. Some caramel and a bit of mild peach and lemon zest. Flavor is well balanced. Initially sweet with a lightly dry and bitter finish. Toffee and flat cola. Mild pine cone. Soft carb, smooth and easy going.

Gravity cask at the 2016 Cambridge Beer Festival. Mid-brown and translucent with an off-white head. Coffee and chocolate as well as berries and oak aroma. Sweet slightly sour taste. Slightly grainy aftertaste. OK but not to Salopian’s exacting standards.

Cask at the Post Office Valults, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a bubbly light tan head. The aroma is citrus fruit, light floral hop, smoky malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, fresh grassy hop, light pepper spice, tropical citrus, light roasty palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. One of the most unusual and flavour packed beers I ever had.
