Golden coloured with hoppy and spicy aromas. Crisp slightly dry lasting malt finish. harrisoni (5382), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 4, 2005 Gravity cask at Ashford Rugby Club. Orange, amber colour with bubbly white head. Not sure what to make of this. Some citrus and banana, with more banana on palate. Spicey finish, not a lot of hop except on end. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Feb 21, 2005 Cask conditioned @ JDW, Soton. Peppery golden hops with fruity sweetness. Light with refreshing mild spicy bitterness. JonMoore (1551), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England Nov 14, 2004 Updated: Nov 15, 2004JDW Loughborough (Moon and Bell). Golden coloured, white head. Fruity, sweetish, hoppy, and nicely drinkable. SilkTork (3943), Rochester, Kent, England Nov 10, 2004 JDW, Rochester. A typically Salopian pale and hoppy ale, though less aggressively hopped than some of their output. Attractive on its own and a great accompaniment to a honey flapjack. I should perhaps have waited for next year before entering my rating, then this beer could have had one rating a year since 2002.
