wheresthepath (246), Buckinghamshire, England May 16, 2008 [Cask at the North Wiltshire Beer Festival]. Very floral, with a leafy taste that for some reason made me think of ivy. Unusual, refreshing and very enjoyable. cgarvieuk (2525), Edinburgh, Scotland May 10, 2008 Cask at Hairy Twat beer festival ... Light amber ... light hop ... fruity honey ... little clove Ethereal (927), London, Greater London, England Mar 2, 2008 Gravity cask at the Battersea Beer Festival, 6th Feb 2008. Clear gold appearance. Aroma is mainly hoppy and wheaty and these are also the dominant flavours when you drink it. The palate is firm and overall I’d say this is a good summer beer. harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England Feb 11, 2008 Cask gravity at Battersea BF 08. Pale gold, lasting off white head. Nettle, banana, peach and something else I can’t place. Really aromatic. Decent condition in the mouth. Real rose petal/banana on end, bit oxydised. Flavoursome though. Mes_and_Sim (4476), Highgate, Greater London, England Feb 10, 2008 Updated: Feb 11, 2008A Mes rate: Gravicask at Battersea Beer Festival. Very slightly hazy gold with a very thin white head. The superb snowstorm when swilled shows what fantastic condition this is in. Superb stuff. Gingerbread and lemon and lovely dusty and bitter hops with some delicate malt in the background with some nice wheaty notes. Love;y mouthfeel, really good bitterness on the finish. Jolly good beer.
