500ml bottle from Beer Gonzo. Cloudy pale yellow brown, massive foamy head. Resin wheat aroma. Dry wheat flavour. Sharp with bitter aftertaste. More a wheat beer than a pale ale.

Cask at The Congress, Longton. A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is quite sweet of sherbet lemon, peach, some pine and spicy hops. Taste of orange marmalade, lemon peel, grapefruit, resin, spicy hops and a hint of caramel to balanced it out. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A good citrus hop bitterness in the finish. A really good, hoppy cask IPA. Maybe a rival for Thornbridge Jaipur.

I flat-out bloody loved this. Pint at the Bodega Newcastle. Bright sparkling gold with a tight white head. Fragrant grapefruit aroma with a cereal background. I had a few good sniffs before committing to a mouthful. Unusually, the blurb "citrus, pines and tropical fruit engulf the palate and caress the senses. " is spot on. This is a full-flavoured elegant pint with a slightly fruity-creamy palate balancing the astringency. Unreservedly recommended.

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours clear gold, thick white head. Aromas of lime, orange, tropical fruit, light malt backnote. Taste brings all that together well, finishing crisply. Understated, but very well done.

Taste comprises bitter citric peel, tangerine, mandarin, light bread dough, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent hoppy sessioner.
