Cask; Occasional. Originally a special in July 2009 (Part of the "World Series" range of monthly beers). Reappeared in January 2010.
A beer that speaks easy of hops and more hops, citrus, pine and grapefruit flavours descend into an untouchable finish.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Yellow gold with white head. Salopian are getting much better at this sort of Golden Ale, light, fresh, hoppy. It helped that this is a better Spoons on the keeping of R.A front. The hops are citrusy without being overwhelming. A decent beer.

Cask conditioned handpump Eastgate Northampton ( JHB bottom? crawl) A light golden coloured beer with a good white head and lacing. The aroma has super citricity. Lovely hoppiness from the four different US varieties. Clean fresh hoppy and so tasty in the mouth. Again a great balance of US hops. Quite beautiful..

(Cask at Mill Hotel, Chester, 21 July 2009) Golden yellow colour with foamy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, peaches and grassy hops. Fruity taste with notes of tropical fruit, citrus and apricots. Citrussy hops in the finish. Medium body, possibly a touch too sweet. Tasty and refreshing.

Cask, The Crown, Nuneaton. Brilliant gold with a tiny white layer. Outstanding, head-and-shoulders- above-all-other-beers-in-the-pub aroma of fresh squeezed hop loveliness; passion fruit, lime, lychee and white grape all making their presence felt. Same in mouth with added grapefruit bite, peanut and vanilla softening out the dryness. Delicious, unputdownable and about to inspire a bit of a rant about its beauty until Octo clattered it all over the tabletop- long after the bell, and too late to get another. Beautiful, but heart-breaking.
