Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This is a pale golden ale with bitter pine and caramel flavours, sweet toffee, biscuit and bitterness on the finish. Superb considering the low ABV.

Cask at ’munro’s’ Glasgow. Aroma floral, citrus and hops. Taste hops and a bread-like flavour. Pleasant.

Cask Real Ale tasted at GB RAF 2012. Mild malty nose. Pale thin head. Clear pale golden color. Soft malty hoppy taste. Fruity hops. At the end hops bite.

I have really good friends. I like them lots. They give me different things. Some are generous to a fault (is that possible?), some don’t give much time or energy but offer so much heart, some are simply there. I wonder which type they see me as.

On tap at Akkurat in Stockholm. It had a hoppy smell with fruits and flowers. Similar taste. Very nice and easy to drink.

Cask@wagonandhorses, oldbury. Gold coloured medium head excellent pacing. Aroma of sweet Malts. Taste is of grapefruit, like a very mild ipa. Bitter finish that turns into an aftertaste. A very good bitter that is easy to drink.

Cask (Akkurat, Stockholm) - Golden with a small head. Peach, grapefruit and biscuity malt in the aroma. Moderately hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, apricot and tea.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy amber. Dusty fruity nose. Dryish, light bodied, well rounded mouthfeel. Spices and boiled vegetables. Slimmed, drinkable. Long resiny bitter finish.

50cl bottle from Tanners, Shrewsbury. Pours golden with gentle bubbles and a slim attractive head. Nose of lemon fruit and zest. Taste of more lemon fruit with just a hint of pale malt in the background. Palate is light to medium bodied with a nice tangy texture and a clean zesty finish. Overall good golden ale.
