COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Occasional. First seen in 2008. Since then has been brewed as a monthly special in August 2010, December 2011 and November 2012.
A whirling mass of hops encircle the palate of this refreshing straw coloured ale, which is balanced by soft malt characteristics.

13 Nov 2012: hand-pulled pint in ’The station’ Oakengates. Light golden body with a healthy looking white crown on top. Hops all the way here, the malt content hardly gets a look in: the nose is a fruit basket of aromas, semi-citrus with hints of sweetness coming through as well. The taste is also hop fruitiness dominated with than citrusy feel to the smell coming stronger in the mouth as each sip finishes. Body depth was OK for 4%ABV and I’d have had another if I wasn’t on a reveiwing mission.

Cask, handpump at FFTMC, Oxford whilst stewarding for a Morris/Longsword rapper event 04.12.11 Pours golden with a filmy white head. Lvely tropical nose to this with some pineapple showing, this also came through rather well in the mouth. Nice bittersweetness, erring more towards the sweet but good for it, tasty decent beer. Cask, Slug & Lettuce, Leicester. Pale gold with a bubbly white head.  Aromas are  biscuit malts with clean woody grapefruit and lemon.  Toast with melon and spices.  Flavours are sweet, mellow lemon with toasted, nutty malts and crisp, clean, woody light grapefruit hops.  Dry and peppery on the finish.  Decent.

Hand pulled at the Court House, Dudley. Very pleasant Golden. Nice hops from the word go: citraesque. They drop off a bit on the finish, but the experience is still very good.
