Microbar Manchester 21 Jan 13. Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt, litt farget skum. Forsiktig surølaroma. Smaken litt tung. Mørke plommer. Blir litt syrlig etter hvert.

Cask at MicroBar, shared with Finn. Bubbly, tan-coloured head. Body is back with a rustic shade. Chocolate malts to the nose, slightly roasted. Earthy, chocolate malts in flavour offset by a roasted bitter ending. Good (Manchester, 21.01.2013).

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 17/05/09. Opaque, near black with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of bitter chocolate and roasted malts. Flavour had some black coffee, powdered chocolate and a hoppy kick in the finish. Pretty good.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Market Porter.
Almost black mahogany colour. Decent coffee and chocolate malt aroma. Rich roasted malt flavour with some very slight funk and an enjoyable dry chocolate finish.
