Cask, Interval cafe, Sheffield, UK. Amber gold, bright resinous hop aroma with faint summer fruit background. Mild flavour, slightly watery, honey sweetness, then a slow sharp spice with very subtle berry flavour.

Gravity @ the kings head Leicester. Dark golden beer. Disappointingly un blackberry-y. Bitter taste but just OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2013 On cask at White Star, Stoke. Pours red brown, blackberry nose is there. Quite bitter and then the blackberry smooths it out. Decent. Tried again 17/12/13 @ Congress, Longton. My opinion does not differ from my 1st try.

Cask at CP&K. It pours clear amber with a small off-white head. The nose is soft fruitiness, berry, raspberry ice-cream and fruit syrup. The taste is straw, bitter pine, light berry, Ribena, pepper and some citrus with a dry, bitter finish. Fruit is well-integrated and not over-done. Nice fruitiness, decent bitterness and easy drinking.

Cask @ CPK. The pour’s a medium gold color with a tight, creamy head. The aroma’s of soft blackberry jam sweetness. Light lemon peel. Floral countryside. The taste is bright floral hop. Light pale malts, hints of citrus. Just a touch of raspberry ripple and blackberry. Light body, fine carbonation. This is on great form. Overall, a really nice beer. Understated.

Dunkel malziger und trockener Antrunk. Zwischenzeitlich angenehm hopfig, wenig bittet, war sich zum Ende noch leicht steigert. Zum Ende sticht der Hopfen hervor, würzig, trocken. 12/10/12/12//11

Cask at CPK, London. Meet the brewer event. It pours clean golden with a nice white head that lasts long. Aroma is hoppy and full of fruits. Some woody notes from the blackberries. Taste is mostly bitter and resiny but well balancved by a fruity sweetness. Hints of blackberries. Long bitter aftertaste. Burps are blueberry-like. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Good stuff.

Cask conditioned at The Postern Gate (JDW), York. Golden bodu. Thin white head and excellent lacing. Blueberries, blackcurrant, strawberry, cherry, cascade hops. Bitter with sweet notes. Dry finish. A little gimicky, but still adds up to more than the sum of its parts.

[Cask at Chippenham BF] Murky pale amber. The brewer attempts to cover up a pretty average underlying bitter with raspberry leaves and late-arriving blackberries. It’s on the sweet side, a little cardboardy and pretty uninspiring. Not impressed. c5
