Bottle. Clear yellow/golden with a medium sized diminishing white head. Chalk and light perfumy hops in the nose. Not the most hoppy APA I’ve had, it is mostly grain with some grassy notes, light flowers, candy, dry green plants and a touch of wet dog. Medium body, soft carbonation, medium sweet and bitter.

Bottle from Desmond’s Next Door, Kimmage [130714]
Amber, crystal clear, frothy white head that dissipates
Aroma of soft pine, grapefruit, soft floral, sweet soft light malts
Taste of soft sweet pale malts, soft pine, dab of grapefruit, touch floral, dab of sweet biscuit malt
Palate - soft carb, medium body, bit oily, quite sweet, fairly bitter hop. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - Comes across as a moderately hoppy golden ale rather than an APA. Not bad at all.

Nocturne (882) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2014
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2014 Cask. Clear light amber shade with creamy white head. Light hoppy aroma. Taste hits with sweetish caramel then moves into hoppy grapefruit and light tropical notes. Interesting hoppiness at times. Palate is a little watery which drags the whole thing down a notch. Nice and drinkable though.
