Bottle - golden with a thin white head which fades to a ring. Aroma of grass, pine and grapefruit. Taste of pine, lemon and grass with a faint bitterness to end. Quite a watery body with medium carbonation.

Clear golden beer with a thin bubbly head. Aroma and taste are both lemony citrus. A touch of hop in the taste and aftertaste. Possibly could have gone being a bit cooler.

Sweet, malty aroma with a zesty refreshing nose and the lingering dry bitterness of a full bodied pale ale. Good session ale - no complaints

Clear golden colour. Light malty sweetness in the aroma and flavour. Quite plain but inoffensive apart from the slightly metallic edge to the finish.

Neither excited nor upset: you may leave this drink with hazy memories of what the experience actually involved. Bland is a strong word, for this beer has certain powerful attributes. Its bitterness, pleasing appearance and long aftertaste make it a drink which leaves you happy when youíre left in its company. Whilst the palate never seeks to offend, it also refuses to state its intentions. For those who want a character ale, look elsewhere. For those locking themselves in for a long session, this may form part of the journey. You may look for something more, but donít discount it entirely.

SlackerMads (2052) - DENMARK - DEC 14, 2014
Bottle. Clear yellow/golden with a medium sized diminishing white head. Chalk and light perfumy hops in the nose. Not the most hoppy APA Iíve had, it is mostly grain with some grassy notes, light flowers, candy, dry green plants and a touch of wet dog. Medium body, soft carbonation, medium sweet and bitter.

500ml bottle, pours clear golden amber with a small bubbly head. Aroma has caramel and biscuit malt, milldly floral and citrus, dank grass and wet cardboard. Finish is long and bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation average to lively.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. Slightly hazy amber, with a white head. Aroma has citrus hops. Taste is hops, orange peel and a good bitterness in the finish.

Bottle from Desmondís Next Door, Kimmage [130714]
Amber, crystal clear, frothy white head that dissipates
Aroma of soft pine, grapefruit, soft floral, sweet soft light malts
Taste of soft sweet pale malts, soft pine, dab of grapefruit, touch floral, dab of sweet biscuit malt
Palate - soft carb, medium body, bit oily, quite sweet, fairly bitter hop. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - Comes across as a moderately hoppy golden ale rather than an APA. Not bad at all.
