Cask@moonunderwater, wolverhampton. Pale amber beer with thin head faint citrus aroma. Taste is of bitter hops and a little citrus. There is a slight tangy flavour in the finish. A decent beer.

Gravity at Battersea Beer Festival 2013. Pale yellow gold. Strongly hoppy bitter, lemon and grapefruit, dry and bitter, long nagging finish. Bit one dimensional but tasty.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours clear gold, lightly effervescent with a fine, white foam head. Toasty pale malts in the nose, some hay. Light sweet flavor, more toasted pale malts, dry grass, light biscuits, pine needles, hints of melon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild dry pale malt finish, some grass and dry pine, mellow tangerine. Pretty tasty brew.

Half, cask at JDWs Manchester & County. Bright amber-copper coloured body. Bubbly ring to the rim of the glass. Dotted spots to the glassware. Plain fruit hoppy aroma. Taste of dried and fresh fruits joined by a touch of caramel. Plain dry bitter ending. Medium bodied. Food friendly. Ok British pale ale (Manchester, 21.01.2013).

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale amber in colour with a thin, loose, white head; the aroma is of sweet grains with a touch of honey; it’s soft and soapy in the mouth, and rather sweet, but with strong leafy hops dominating the flavour; these give a long lingering finish, with a slight acidic burn to the throat in the process. It’s good to see we can brew well hopped ales in England!

Pours a deep gold, white head doesnt last. Soft hopped nose, some fresh grass and hay. Nothing overwhelming. Nice smooth hop/pale ale style bitterness in the flavour, some biscuity malts.. Finish is malt, with a hint of citrus bitterness.

50cl bottle. Pours golden/orange with thin clean white head that hangs around for most of the duration. Aroma is fairly muted, but there’s a bit of lemony citrus action, a touch of pine resin, slightly off-putting vegetal notes, and a bit of sugary malt sweetness. Taste is much better than the aroma suggests: plenty of citrus hop notes, herbs, and fresh pine notes alongside a decent biscuit malt backing. Very well balanced. Lingering but not overpowering citric hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Pretty good.

On tap. Deep golden pale ale, head lasts quite well. Light aroma, but full flavour, with crisp clean hops, some citrus and a dry finish. Hoppy enough to refresh but not too dry. Jolly nice too.

Light clear orange with a thick frothy lasting sticky lacy off-white head. Smells of toasted malt, caramel with a flowery citrus hop (orange). Thin watery frothy texture. A bitter-sweet tart kick starts it off with a sweet centre and a citrus chemical pasteurised finish. Its fruity apple with a grassy tinge. Seems a bit chemical which is usual for this brewery.
