29.03.2013. 0,5l Bottle. Thanks to Gunnar! @tkk. Hazelnut coffee brown. Dark amber colour with off-white head. Aroma of dark and mild sweet malt. Rather soft beer with medium body. Flavours of dark faintly roasted malts. Moderate to low bitterness. Notes off sweet coffee back there together with some dark syrup flavours. Very soft beer.

Bottle from myBrewerytap.Pours clear dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, toffee and coffee. Taste is smooth, rich body for the low abv, light sweet hazelnut and chocolate, moderate dry and hoppy end, fresh and clean mouthfeel, lingering mint, very good beer.

Cask at CPK, London. Meet the brewer event. It pours clear deep ruby/brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is sweet malts and hazelnut. Taste is sweet with dark malts, molasses, hazelnut and some crushed coffee beans. Thin in the mouth with soft carbonation. Overall, good but not outstanding.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle - Ruby red colour with frothy, white head. Fairly pale for a porter. Malty, roasted nose with fresh coffee and nuts. Malty, slightly roasted taste with coffee and hazelnuts. Tasty, a bit like one of those infused coffees from Starbucks. Interesting.

2.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2013 Trafford Arms Beerfest. Brown in colour with a nice fine head. This tastes pretty much like it says with coffee, hazelnuts and chocolate flavours dominating, perhaps too much as it lacks the usual Porter characteristics and makes drinking a whole pint a bit of a chore. Low score on palate as it’s a bit thin and fizzy.

Cask @ St. Urho’s Pub, Helsinki
Pours copper orange with a bubbly head. Aroma of hazelnuts, hints of coffee and roastiness. Taste is watery, sweetish and malty with notes of nuts, hints of coffee and roastiness. Finish is smooth and sweet with notes of fruits, nuts and cold coffee. A bit unbalanced, not very porter-like.
