2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 VastActiv (805) - Oulu, FINLAND - FEB 13, 2013
Cask at St Urho, Helsinki. Colour is copper with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Nuts, coffee and roasted malts. Horrible.
2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 mjs (3609) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 13, 2013
(Cask at St. Urho’s Pub Portteripäivät ’13) The beer poured brown. Its head was small and white. Aroma had nuts, chocolate, roasted malts and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, nuts, malts, more sweetness and low bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. Unpleasant: too sweet and the nut flavour was too strong.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 McWorta (231) - LUXEMBOURG - FEB 10, 2013
Vanilla, chocolate, toffee, coffee and slightly earthy, light notes of earth & leather hints of nuts on top of the gums. Orange-amber small white light head. Nice balance, creme brule, coffee and caramel pudding. Light bitter and medium sweet, full body, slick and light lively.
Drink dessert! Congenial after a meal for 1 or 2 to drink. Enjoyable beer!
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 thirstyrabbit (719) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 25, 2013
Bottle. Copper body with a small head. Aroma has powdery cocoa and dried peas. Taste has sweet caramel with a teaspoonful of cocoa powder. This sounds like a rejected idea for a soft drink. I don’t get this beer at all. Maybe it’s because the label promised a porter (in CAPS!) and it’s clearly not a porter.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 DandyLion (224) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2013
Cask @ the pub, Leicester. This beer is lovely. A hazelnut coffee porter that tastes like a cold hazelnut latte, I loved it a lot. I'd like it better perhaps with a bit more body- a stout would be amazing but it is delicious as it is.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 toffeeslot (116) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 23, 2012
Pours a nice colour, with some good nut and coffee aroma. Decent head off white. Taste is of roasted malts, coffee, vanilla and hazlenut. A bit like a ferro rocher chocolate :)
Quite light body - would have preferred it a bit thicker.
Good though.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Marduk (1266) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 22, 2012
500ml bottle. Deep redbrown color. Small head. Hazelnuts, malty, dusty, roast in aroma. Nutty, bit buttery, malty, slightly dry roast in flavor. Very drinkable beer!
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 FatPhil (7496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 21, 2012
500ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
Super-nice hazelnut aroma. Some cocoa powder too. Sweet, sticky, cocao powder body. Taste also cocao powdery. Nice and drinkable, but the powdery nature of this is perhaps a bit too much.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 planky84 (1631) - , Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2012
Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Reddish-brown pour with a white head. Chocolate, nuts and light coffee aroma. Milk chocolate, light nuts and some coffee flavours. Not bad at all.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Theydon_Bois (2957) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2012
Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 30/09/12.
Dark mahogony brown with a thin han head.
Nose was a little disappointing and muted. Roast malts and nuts.
Tasted much better with dark roast malt prominent, hazelnut and light coffee tones.
Medium to light in a body a little too thin and watery, another let down on this beer.
Drinkable but could have been a few notches better!
