3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Looks beautiful, unfortunately very sweet and quite synthetic tasting, like hazelnut syrup has been poured into your beer! A memorable beer nonetheless

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled at Hell Hunt. Deep ruby brown color, small firm beige head. Artificial chocolate aroma, light grassy notes. Medium-bodied. Artificial chocolate flavor too with late grassy bitterness. Not my cup of tea.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Unporterish dark red. Halo of tan head. Nutty, sweet milk chocolate aroma. Coffee not discernible. Taste is initially syrupy sweet, with a bitter palate and aftertaste. Iíve had a lengthy beer day, and this was a bit clacky to wind things up. Bad choice, on my part..

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had it from the tap and maybe thats why the aroma wasnít as strong, but generally a great beer. Really good taste, strong nutty flavours, smooth drinking, not too gassy. Sold out the night i was at the pub, speaks for itself

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle from Bradleyís. Pours a clear reddish brown with no head. Looks like a pint of Coke. Nice aroma of chocolate, hazelnut and toffee. Flavour is sweet, with lots of nutty chocolate notes, and a sweet coffee taste. Smooth and soft carbonation with a sweet coffee finish. Nothing totally spectacular but pretty nice and interesting.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
(Bottle): Pours a clear brown with an off white head. Aroma of nuts, coffee, malt. Overly sweet and tacky taste of nuts, slight coffee and malt. Leaves a horrid aftertaste and the beer does not resemble a porter, itís more of a brown ale (a not very good brown ale at that).

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ the Stockbridge Tap. This really did give me such a pleasant surprise. Recently Iíve been getting quite bored with coffee porters or stouts as I find them a little one dimensional. The hazelnut has produced the extra dimension on this occasion. The proportions of coffee and hazelnut really have been applied with a deft touch and itís clear that the brewer has a very good palate. I will look out for their beers in future.
