Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Amber coloured with a spicy citrus and peppery hop flavour, burnt toffee notes followed by grapefruit on the finish. Very good considering its low ABV.

Cask at the Craft Beer in the Crypt festival, Middlesbrough. Amber with an off white head. The taste is citrus backed up with biscuit malt. A nice drinkable bitter, but nothing out of the ordinary.

It’s nothing amazing, but for the style it’s pretty damn good. Fruity bitterness to it and great selection of hops.

Pours amber with a wispy head. Malty smells and taste. Flavours are slightly salty, with a good hoppy bitterness. Carbonation is mild giving a pleasant medium body.

Bottle, from Morrison’s. Amber gold, thin short lived white head and low condition. Hints of fruitiness and a herbal hop note in the nose, quite hoppy in the mouth with a hint of chewing gum and a developing dry bitterness that becomes quite astringent, finish is hoppy and fruity with a lingering bitterness

Bright clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is semi dry and mildly crisp. Dry clean malts, trace of unsweet toffee. Bitter hops - dried fruits, unsweet. Light dry finish. Noble hop linger. Clean but bog standard stuff.
