2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Thin white head which instantly dissipates. Crystal clear pale gold body. Aroma is of lots of fresh, ripe raspberries, with an undercurrent of honey and yoghurt. Very bitter from the fruit, with sweet undertones. Dry finish. Rather nice.

On cask at Cloisters. A blonde beer with a thin white head. Aroma of raspberry ripple ice-cream and caramel. Similar flavours, quite artificial, with caramel and a raspberry ice-cream chupachop quality. Mild carbonation and a little oily. Too artificial for me.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at Cloisters. Golden with a very thin white head. Big raspberry nose. Immediate palate is of a standard cask gold ale. Subsides to a quite nice raspberry afterthought with a lingering tang. quite nice.

Poured a very pale yellow with almost no head. The aroma was overwhelmingly of raspberries. Tasted of raspberries unsurprisingly, with a little hop.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle at home ... lovely crisp golden yellow ... big bubbly white head ... lots of raspberry from even a distance ... soft fruit hop ... soft raspberry light bitterness... aroma and looks tops the beer its self, but the beer is decent if a little bitter and ligth metalicness

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask, Kiroswald Beer Fest. Extremely aromatic beer, strong fruit aroma from a good distance! Light golden appearance, sweetness blends in nicely with the bitterness of the beer, to make a really fresh-tasting summer beer that is all too easy to drink. Good balance and well-flavoured.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cask handpull, The Craven Arms Inn, Appletreewick, North Yorkshire, 20/04/11. Innocuous pale ale looks with a low white head and ruff. Fake raspberry and pavlova aroma- 5. Raspberry sweet taste- all fakeness and no fruit with rescuing licks of bread and biscuit. Dire, comical, slightly poisonous- can’t believe how highly it’s scored by previous raters, but each to their own.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask gravity at Kent BF 2010. Lovely aroma of fresh raspberry doesn’t continue into the flavour where the fruit and the golden ale do battle for sweetness and dryness at the same time.

3.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
15th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear gold beer, little white suddy head. Quite remarkable nose - as soon as the beer started to pour an aroma of fresh raspberries cut through all the stale beer, sweat and burger smells of the festival and pervaded everywhere - really top notch! Light dry palate. Fresh tart raspberry but a light presence of it - nothing like as intense as the nose. The raspberry turns sweeter before a very dry finish and a slightly hop bitter aftertaste.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Cask at the CASK Pub & Kitchen on 29th June 2010. Gold with a white diminishing head. Exquisite strong very real raspberry aroma then intricate bouquet of floral hop in main kick. The two flavours work in harmony, not discord, and a very pleasant endtaste ensues on a smooth to light mouthfeel.
