500ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour, white bubbly foam head and aroma of sweet syrupy raspberry. Taste is fruity raspberry mixed with biscuity malt plus some chalky dry bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, drying bitter finish. Quite OK.

Cask at the Rake, 28th April 2010. Clear orange with a line of head. Raspberry aroma. In the mouth, the sweet raspberries are balanced by a dry hop flavour. Definitely one for the sweeter toothed. Pretty quick finish. Overall a bit of a novelty beer but Saltaire have done a good job on something that could be hideous.

500ml bottle. Pours a pale gold, with a white head. Fruity, citrusy aroma, raspberries, malt. Dry, light body, low bitterness, balanced CO2. Quite neutral taste, citrus, raspberries, wheat. Refreshing, maybe a bit bland. (2012-06-08)

Cask at Cloisters. Golden with a very thin white head. Big raspberry nose. Immediate palate is of a standard cask gold ale. Subsides to a quite nice raspberry afterthought with a lingering tang. quite nice.

On handpull, pours a clear amber/gold. A strong raspberry syrup-like aroma. The raspberry is more subtle in the flavour, with a reasonable malt presense, and a light mouthfeel.

Cask, Kings Arms, Salford. Yellowy gold with a medium white head. Sweet, saccharine, raspberry aroma. Flavour a pretty ill conceived sickly affair. Give me a Boon Framboise instead any day of the week chief.

500ml bottle - found this more of a blonde than a fruit beer, yes it has a wee aftertaste and a bit of a raspberry aroma, but the beer is the hero here. Nice crisp golden, bit of a freshness at the end. Good.

500ml Bottle . In a 50 cl Leffe goblet . Basically this goblet holds the whole bottle in one pour. Nose is both sweet and tart raspberry notes , quiet lactic too . Nice and not too generic on first impression. It resembles a low boost golde in appearance. Kinda bready malty caramel like , little cardboard, then subtle raspberry underneath. I’d like the raspberry texture turned up ... It’s basically a golden beer with subtle fruit nuances... I’d like it the fucken reverse. The nose was the only good thing here .

Bottle. Thin white head which instantly dissipates. Crystal clear pale gold body. Aroma is of lots of fresh, ripe raspberries, with an undercurrent of honey and yoghurt. Very bitter from the fruit, with sweet undertones. Dry finish. Rather nice.

Cask, Kiroswald Beer Fest. Extremely aromatic beer, strong fruit aroma from a good distance! Light golden appearance, sweetness blends in nicely with the bitterness of the beer, to make a really fresh-tasting summer beer that is all too easy to drink. Good balance and well-flavoured.
