Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow (2 Mar 12) - lightly hopped with a fruity aroma, clear golden ale with a small off-white head, very pleasant, smooth and well-balanced, good session beer

Cask - The Bell Hotel (JDW), Norwich. Fine but lasting white head; clear golden orange body. Crisp citrus profile. Pretty decent juicy lemon & grapefruit with hints of lime. Touches of elderflower & ginger on the tongue. Light to medium body, crisp & firm mouthfeel, lingering though soft & dryish finish. A lovely hoppy blonde.

Cask conditioned at the JDW in Bath, 4/02/2012. Golden with a slight haze and short-lived white head. Aroma of sweetish malts with a touch of grassy hop. Flavour of hedgerow fruit and weetabix, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask @ Grand Central, Fallowfield. Lovely light golden colour with thin white head leaving decent lacing. Fruity malty aroma. Slightly sweet initially it leads to a long, bitter finish. Its light palate would make it an ideal summer beer - typically I sampled it in the bloody winter.

bottle. slightly disappointing as Iíve had cask before and it was much better (from memory) looked pretty much like a standard bottled supermarket blond beer and didnít improve in nose or taste. best avoided in this container!

Bottle@Home. Malty, light hoppy, light fruity aroma. Golden, white head, good lace. Light sweet, light bitter, malty, more bitter in the finish, odd hops. Dry, clean.

Cask at Craft Beer. Slight caveat that all the other beers in the same session were awesome, but this one was pretty average. Pale gold colour, there probably was soft malt flavours but hops were very disappointing tasted a bit droopy.

Cask at the Old Fountain. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Sweet nose, honey malts, light straw. Nice flavor, not too intense, some easy bitterness, hay and sweet, juicy citrus, some sugary malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, lightly sticky finish, faint grass and straw, nice and light toasted bread and some residual sugars. Very pleasant.
