Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Golden colour with a small white head. Hop aroma. Plenty of fruit in the taste as well as some biscuity malt. Medium bitterness. Say no more: just right.

Cask at the Old Fountain. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Sweet nose, honey malts, light straw. Nice flavor, not too intense, some easy bitterness, hay and sweet, juicy citrus, some sugary malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, lightly sticky finish, faint grass and straw, nice and light toasted bread and some residual sugars. Very pleasant.

IlBevitorediLA (452) - ITALY - MAR 20, 2012
Ottima Golden Ale

Cask (gravity dispense) Pembury Tavern, Hackney. The colour is - erm - blonde. Fresh hoppy aroma - a combination of floral and peppery. More spicy hops in the flavour, with a citric bite. Initially it seemed a little sweet, but the mouthfeel ended up quite sharp and drying. Very refreshing and a very enjoyable beer.

Cask gravity at Pembury Tavern. Pale gold, thin white head. Nettly hoppy aroma. Some softness in mouth. Nettley hop finish. Bit like a gooseberry, new world Sauvignon Blanc. I like it. A bit spikey, and I really like it.

Cask conditioned at The Bell, Banbury. Straw colour with white head. Good, citrusy hop notes on a biscuity malt, lemony, grassy. Crisp and refreshing, a good Monday evening beer.
