3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 EFC1878 (315) - Manchester, Greater Manchester, - JAN 5, 2012Cask @ Grand Central, Fallowfield. Lovely light golden colour with thin white head leaving decent lacing. Fruity malty aroma. Slightly sweet initially it leads to a long, bitter finish. Its light palate would make it an ideal summer beer - typically I sampled it in the bloody winter.

Light and easy drinking blonde, a great session beer on a warm day. sweetish malt balanced nicely by clean noble hop flavours - excellent on cask, though doesn’t seem to hold up in the bottle as well.

Cask@Blue Stoops,Chesterfield. In a world seemingly awash with pale ales, you have to be good to stand out from the crowd. This doesn,t quite do it. Thats not to say it,s bad, just nothing special. It,s has a citrus kick with a grassy aftertaste and is quite pleasant in it,s straw coloured jacket. just one of the makeweights in a race where others are well ahead.

1/2 at the Tilley Stone Gateshead. Clear gold with a dense white head. Straw aroma, insipid citrus and floral flavour flavours, watery palate. Went home and had a bottle of Marynka, at 99p, 6p cheaper than my half, twice as much beer, and twice as good!

Pale yellow with a thin somewhat lasting small white light lacy head. Smells of toasted malt, citrus and a light hop fruitiness - peach. Watery thin with a soft carbonation. Tastes sweet at first like peach and then a bitter grassy hop dry finish. Some light malt with a bit of spice and apples.

Served on Cask at the Flying Horse, Gatwick Airport - Jan ’12. Pours to a very clear golden blonde colour, you can literally see right through it! Small white head that thins slightly during drinking.
Defnitely a citrus nose to this beer and a light sweetish malt aroma also.
On the palate this beer also gives off a citrus flavour and slightly grassy with a very subtle hop taste and finishes slightly bitter
Quite a thin beer in the mouthfeel but fairly crisp and refreshing none the less.
