Bottle received as a gift. Pours dark amber with a nice creamy head. Quite strong, malty flavour - not as light and fruity as some IPAs, but robust and tasty

Bottle, From Marks & Spencer. Golden brown, thin but lasting white head and moderate condition. Big citrusy hop resin nose with a background of sweet caramel maltiness, hoppy and chalkily bitter in the mouth with hints of peppery spice and citrus, and a touch of toffee. Finish is dry and bitter with lingering retronasal hop resin.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle 50cl. Amber with an off white head which quickly disappeared, typicial english. Malty nose (surprisingly for an IPA). Nice taste where the hops are more present. Bitterness in combination with a nice body makes this beer easy to drink. Finish is rather short, but the bitterness sticks for quite a while. Not bad.
