DuffMan (1915), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Apr 24, 2008 Slightly orange-golden with a pretty bland grainy aroma. Thin lagery palate with low hop content, pretty disappointing really. Tipsy_McStager (818), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 16, 2007 run of the mill pale. Muted aroma. Average malt and hops. Passable to drink, but doesn’t beg to be tried again. BREWMUSKCLES (751), WEEHAWKEN, New Jersey, USA Oct 8, 2007 went good with my bbq st. louis ribs. tingle of a hop profile and that’s it. nice caramel and nutty sweetness. pretty good malty backbone. good carbonation. sorry, i don’t SESSION beers anymore. nice dark amber color probably accentuates the tastes described above. presario (2392), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Sep 13, 2007 GCBF Sample. Good lacing. Moderate head. Malty aroma. Hoppier than expected. Light finish. DarkStar22769 (93), Ontario, Canada Aug 21, 2006 From 650 ml bottle into an imp pint glass. Poured a highly carbonated amber (large bubbles clinging to the glass) with a thinnish head. Some flowery aromas take hold with the distant scent of hops. It’s a very light aroma. Flavour is thin and sour. There’s something that causes my cheeks to pucker and I can’t push that away long enough to get a sense of what this ale CAN taste like. A poor representation, unfortunately.
