12oz bottle, stemware @ 55F - Dark amber, no head. nose is pretty nonexistent, maybe some burnt malts? Caramel, brown sugar, apple, pear, etc. but very little taste.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2015 Hands down the greatest light beer I have ever tasted. I donít drink a lot of light beer but sometimes after the holiday gorge itís not a bad idea to substitute a 6 pack of these in the rotation here and there, I donít care what beer snobs say. Nice caramel, light hops, clean and refreshing. An American light beer that tastes good with no adjuncts.

Look: pours an amber color. White head. Very clear.
Smell: lager malt smell. Sweet malts caramel. Bready biscuit.
Taste: sweet caramel malt. Biscuit.
Feel: very thin mouth feel. Medium carbonation.
Overall: odd flavor just due to the age.
First drank: home 1/6/15
Vintage: January 2013

Iíve gotta say, this ainít half bad at all. Tastes just like a watered down Boston Lager, but thatís a good thing too. Very nice alternative for a weekday brew when you just want to wet the whistle without getting all torn up for next morning.

"for a light beer, one of the best, but thatís not really saying that much. None of the bad qualities that typically infiltrate the cheaper light beers, itís just a thinner, less exciting version of their flagship beer."

Generically fine. I guess I prefer this to the BL,CL,MLs of the world, but really it is just about as nondescript as they get. Coppery appearance. Usual malty lager profile. Bready. Watery.

Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance Ė The beer pours an amber color with a one finger white head. The head fades relatively fast to leave only a light amount of lacing.
Smell Ė The aroma is heaviest of caramel and roasted malt mixed with lighter floral and citrus notes.
Taste Ė The taste starts out of caramel malt mixed with a corn like taste. As the taste advances some hints of hop flavor come to the tongue. The hop is of a more herbal and citrus in nature and in the end with the caramel flavor leave a mainly sweet kind of herbal like taste on the tongue.
Mouthfeel Ė The beer is on the thinner side with respects to body with a carbonation level that is on the slightly standard side. Both make for a rather refreshing taste and are appropriate for the style.
Overall Ė A tastier version of a light beer with more hop and malt characteristic for the ďlightĒ lager style. While nothing to pine over it is rather refreshing.
