2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
aroma= slight roast charater and a touch of lager character
Appearance= Mod to low head, orange copper, well carbonated
Flavor= Very quick flash of malt upfront, then thin with an orange peel like flavor, not too bad, more hop driven, some sourness although not flawed
Palate= Weak even for a light beer, Amstel light is smoother. Sam is ok though for what it is
Overall, seems like a decent light beer if you need to be drinking a light and it is nice to see more variety in the market.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours an amber from a bottle, good clean malty aroma, maybe a little biscuity, nice clean flavor when cold, probably one of the better American lagers Iíve had, and a light one at that. Better than the Sam Adams Boston Lager. Good beer.

Classic beer. Medium look and nice finish. This has a well balanced mix between the hops and malts.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours clear amber with a medium beige head, very fine lacing, excellent retention. Malty aroma; caramel, biscuit, hay. Light body, smooth, lively. Lightly sweet and nutty, light bitter finish with some nice earthy notes. Very drinkable and refreshing.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2015 Hands down the greatest light beer I have ever tasted. I donít drink a lot of light beer but sometimes after the holiday gorge itís not a bad idea to substitute a 6 pack of these in the rotation here and there, I donít care what beer snobs say. Nice caramel, light hops, clean and refreshing. An American light beer that tastes good with no adjuncts.

Look: pours an amber color. White head. Very clear.
Smell: lager malt smell. Sweet malts caramel. Bready biscuit.
Taste: sweet caramel malt. Biscuit.
Feel: very thin mouth feel. Medium carbonation.
Overall: odd flavor just due to the age.

Iíve gotta say, this ainít half bad at all. Tastes just like a watered down Boston Lager, but thatís a good thing too. Very nice alternative for a weekday brew when you just want to wet the whistle without getting all torn up for next morning.
