I figured that if anybody could make a good light beer then my favorite large brewer Sam Adams could. Boy was I drunk when I thought of that. It turns out that God himself couldn't make a tasty light beer, and I should know. It is of course the best light beer I've ever had, but I'd still order a mixed drink instead if this was the only thing available at the bar. I'll wrap this up by only saying nice things about the beer: It's thin, light body makes it easy to chug like water, but fizzier. Beats the living hell out of anything else with a "light" label on it. A great beer to use to turn your light beer drinking freinds over to the dark side. (Luke, I'm your father.) If you spill it it won't stain your shirt. If you've ever urinated then you'll know what to expect if you pour it out of the bottle, which would be a waste of a clean glass so don't.

Classic beer. Medium look and nice finish. This has a well balanced mix between the hops and malts.

Pours clear amber with a medium beige head, very fine lacing, excellent retention. Malty aroma; caramel, biscuit, hay. Light body, smooth, lively. Lightly sweet and nutty, light bitter finish with some nice earthy notes. Very drinkable and refreshing.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2015 Hands down the greatest light beer I have ever tasted. I donít drink a lot of light beer but sometimes after the holiday gorge itís not a bad idea to substitute a 6 pack of these in the rotation here and there, I donít care what beer snobs say. Nice caramel, light hops, clean and refreshing. An American light beer that tastes good with no adjuncts.

Iíve gotta say, this ainít half bad at all. Tastes just like a watered down Boston Lager, but thatís a good thing too. Very nice alternative for a weekday brew when you just want to wet the whistle without getting all torn up for next morning.

"for a light beer, one of the best, but thatís not really saying that much. None of the bad qualities that typically infiltrate the cheaper light beers, itís just a thinner, less exciting version of their flagship beer."
