I figured that if anybody could make a good light beer then my favorite large brewer Sam Adams could. Boy was I drunk when I thought of that. It turns out that God himself couldn't make a tasty light beer, and I should know. It is of course the best light beer I've ever had, but I'd still order a mixed drink instead if this was the only thing available at the bar. I'll wrap this up by only saying nice things about the beer: It's thin, light body makes it easy to chug like water, but fizzier. Beats the living hell out of anything else with a "light" label on it. A great beer to use to turn your light beer drinking freinds over to the dark side. (Luke, I'm your father.) If you spill it it won't stain your shirt. If you've ever urinated then you'll know what to expect if you pour it out of the bottle, which would be a waste of a clean glass so don't.

Awesome "dinner" beer...crisp, clean, and smooth. One of the better light, American beers

12oz bottle picked up at the state store
Clear golden/amber with a small white head that dissipates quickly leaving light lacing. Aroma of corn, wheat, grassy and light honey. Flavors are grainy, malts, citrus with a sweet finish
OK, similar to a macro lager but better

This is not a good beer. It looks terrible and tastes worse. Needed the bottle though.

I feel itís significant to note that my rating takes the fact that this is a light beer into account. I hate light beer but I donít hate this. Why? This beer doesnít suck. It has a nice hoppy kick and the malt, though light in body, has a good nutty taste. This isnít your standard light beer, and thatís a wonderful thing. If I absolutely had to drink a light beer, this would be the one Iíd go for.

Bottle into SAís lager glass, bright amber color with white head. Aroma of malt sweetness, somewhat floral and maybe the slightest grain and caramel note. Taste is the aroma adding some notes of bread and a very faint nuttiness. Light body, moderate carbonation, watery yet malty too with clean finish. Not to bad for a light beer, the faintest of nuances sets it apart from the macro lights.

Pours amber with a cap of white foam. Brilliant clarity. Smells of sweet malts and hints of tea - very, very similar to standard Boston Lager. Flavors of grain and light malts with a bit of corny character - but pleasant. Thin with hi carb and lightly dry finish. Nice beer and well worth a try for those watching their calories.
