Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA May 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours a copper body with a whit head. Awesome aroma of berries and fresh sliced fruit. Flavor is a bit more tame with wheat dominating and some candy sweetness, not bad. ben4321 (957), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 14, 2009 Overall Impression:
Out of the LongShot pack from I believe 2007? This was a weird and interesting beer. Old notes had it rated here, so I’ll just trust those... shp555 (1678), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Apr 21, 2009 Pours a clear golden color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet fruity boysenberry syrup, some malt poking through, and maybe some vanilla. Flavor is sweet boysenberry candy, malty, vanilla, and a slightly spicy finish. Adam77 (407), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA Apr 14, 2009 Poured yellow with a white head. Aroma of berries. Refreshing berry flavor. milljam (562), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Jan 30, 2009 Uck. Tasted like typical crappy fruit beers--like drinking the milk after a bowl of fruit loops. The worst part is the watery-ness. Insubstantial. Snojerk321 (1917), San Diego, California, USA Dec 15, 2008 Bottle. Pours a two finger white head that fades to a lumpy layer leaving some lace. Cloudy amber color. Medium-strong carbonation and medium bodied. Sweet fruity nose. Flavor sweet boysenberry, hops are balancing, clean finish. Would make a good summer beer. jimmack34 (560), Lancaster, Ohio, USA Dec 11, 2008 bottle. Drank this one when it first came out, so I am going off memory. Smelled fruity with a small hint of hops and malt. Tasted very good and fruity, a little overpowering, but I tried it along side a rotisserie chicken. Totally changed everything. Much better when paired with a good bird. The fruit dominance is tamed slightly light flavors of the chicken. Pretty good beer. Beerman6686 (1266), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 5, 2008 Pours a light hazy yellow color with an off white head. Aroma was of sweet boysenberries, almost too sweet. Flavor was just too sweet and artificial. Way too overbearing, much like the cherry wheat.
