aarossell (151), Grandville, Michigan, USA Jan 21, 2007 Updated: Feb 5, 2007 bottle from Siciliano’s Market. Very very delicious and fantastic beer. Golden color, creamy white head, smooth bubbly palate, immediate sweet fruity berry flavor, taste of crisp ceral wheat malts, fresh boysenberry flavor, light sugary sweetness finish, small citrusy finish. Amazing. Will have to buy fresh again soon!!....second bottle reminded me of froot loops...a bit. which might be an ugly description for some, but I like. (Light froot loops. heh)
jkwalking05 (171), Arlington, Texas, USA Jul 26, 2008 Decent look with a medium head. Wonderful smell of boysenberries is present but not overpowering, but the boysenberries flavor is a little artificial and overpowering in the taste. Butters (308), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jun 18, 2008 Probably my favorite of the longshot series so far. The name summed up the experience nicely. Hazy straw color with fair off-white head. Never had a boysenberry before, but the flavor was quite enjoyable. topherh (254), Kearney, Missouri, USA Apr 1, 2008 12 oz bottle Poured cloudy golden with a nice aroma of fruit. Flavor is of a nice American style wheat with Boysenberry. Very Easy to drink. Too bad this isn’t going to become a regular. daknole (694), Plantation, Florida, USA Mar 16, 2008 This is a great fruit beer. Really well balanced with a super boysenberry flavor. Nice cloudy pour with a small cream colored head. Very smooth and easy to drink. I was lucky to score a pack of the longshot winners in Augusta at a Publix while I was at the Masters. IrishBoy (2127), Bakersfield, California, USA Mar 13, 2008 12 oz bottle from Odeed; nose of boysenberries and light bread; hazy gold with a small offwhite head; flavor of grain and light boysenberries; not overpowering fruit as in a lot of fruit beers! Nice light fruit beer.
