Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2014 Besmirches the entire concept of the word rebel. Weak at best, shoud be renamed lilly session IPA or some other wimpy domestic Skete’s Wicked blah blah blah... Needs more flavor, aroma and dry hops, a higher mash temp, and grains to add body.

Rather clear light amber colour with a frothy off white head, good lacings. Aromas of bready light caramel mats with subtle notes of grapefruit, orange and hints of pine and generally rather floral. Softly carbonated rather smooth texture with a medium body. Subtle sweetness with a well harmonic fruity hop bitterness and a short-medium lasting finish. Nice drinkability yet not a west coast IPA you would expect.

Bottle on Celebrity Millennium. Intense sweetish hoppy beginning. Lots of smooth grain, fresh and bitter with nice green hops. The bitterness is a bit too intense with not too much floralness. Fresh but sweetish aftertaste with hints of floralness.

Rigtig fin IPA. Tyndt hvidt skum. Klar gylden farve. Tydelig humle med masser af friskhed, citrus og sommer. Overraskende god. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap in a pint glass: Pours golden with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus, resin, and caramel. Taste is the same Sam Adams slightly metallic water with a solid amount of hops, light grapefruit notes, resin, and malt sweetness. Decent beer.

Ljus och rätt klar. Vanlig ipa med lite fruktighet och en okej beska. Någon bismak som stör. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 12 Dec 2015) Golden amber colour with dense, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, grass and crystal malt. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, peaches, canned fruit and a finish with a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, but a bit unbalanced. Still, quite nice.

Bottle from the Dodgy Deli, Cowley Road, Oxford. Consumed at home Friday 22nd January 2016 Hazy warm gold with a slim white head, a little honey, quite slick in the mouth, a little bit of Werthers Original, the hops are there but a little restrained and beaten back by the sweetness.
