COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rebel IPA is brewed with 5 varieties of West coast hops: cascade, simcoe, centennial, chinook, & amarillo. It’s everything we love about West coast style IPA’s. Big citrus & grapefruit flavors with subtle pine notes for a flavorful refreshing brew.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2014 Besmirches the entire concept of the word rebel. Weak at best, shoud be renamed lilly session IPA or some other wimpy domestic Skete’s Wicked blah blah blah... Needs more flavor, aroma and dry hops, a higher mash temp, and grains to add body.

355 ml bottle.
Pours clear copper color with a large white head. Very herbal and grassy aroma, some crisp hops and mild citric fruits. Orange and some pineapple on the flavor, resinous hops, slick oily palate with caramel on the finish. Drinkable, but a bit watery and too straightforward.

This beer just doesn't have the full IPA experience that I have come to experience with the smaller craft beer IPAs.

Light golden yellow color. 2 fingers of billowy white head. Aroma is one of straight grapefruit. Taste more juicy grapefruit. Not mind blowing, but a solid west coast IPA. This is an under-rated IPA for sure

Flaska pitchers örebro. Orangefärgad. Fuktig fruktig doft med blött vitt bröd. Lätt maltig smak med viss sötma och örtighet. Bra beska och kolsyrehalt

Bottled. Light copper color with a very light tan head. Aroma is dominated by citrus hops. The taste is dominated by the grapefruit-like flavor of the hops, of which the centennial and cascade hops stood out for me (they happen to be my favorite types of hops). When I say dominated, I mean it. There’s a little bit of slightly-sweet malt flavor but it could have used a little bit more. Carbonation a little fizzy and the body is a bit too light. The finish is bitter and lingers for a bit. A decent beer but hops alone aren’t enough to make it a notable IPA.

355 ml bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada via coop. Slightly hazy gold, noticeable carbonation. Sweet honey and pepper aroma. Sweet then a quick citrus hoppiness. More sweetness comes through on the finish.

From a brewery that routinely produces pretty good beer comes yet another pretty good beer! It’s definitely on par with a lot of the other ipas the market. It’s like a Boston lager for the kids who grew up drinking two hearted instead of budweiser.

This is a pretty good beer. Just the right amount of hops and a little citrus kick in the pants. Its not my every day beer but a good one when there is nothing else at the bar.

A nice hop filled brew. Tons of citrus and pine resin notes, light toasted caramel malts, hints of floral and spice hop notes. The balance is lacking and the pour has a ncie golden orange colour with a nasty thin and soapy white head. overall, a good brew but unimaginative.

Very bitter and hoppy beer. Slight sweet flavor to start with a clean hop finish. Light for the alcohol percentage.
