On cask at the Duke’s Head, Putney. Reasonably straightforward bitter with a solid grain taste and a little more hop flavor than the standard cask offerings. Good with a pie.

Cask handpull. Mostly clear amber coloured pour with a lasting off white creamy top. Aroma is nutty, raisin bread, bit of staling, dried apple. Flavour is composed of nutty light toffied malts, raisin and dried apples, little dishwater. Some rough grains in the finish. Palate is medium sweet, moderate cask condition. OK bitter but pretty boring.
