Cask at Streatham 'spoons. Pours an amber colour with a slightly off white head. Light caramel, malty aroma with a little candy. Light to medium body, mild carbonation. Toffee, apple, pear... Not much going on. Not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask @ Gallows Bird ⅩⅦ Real Ale Festival
Aroma is rather fruity with some hops and caramel tones. Flavour is a bit musty with minerals, toffee and grainy tones. Also hints of caramel. Too English but decent anyway

Really want to like this beer as it’s from a local brewery but wasn’t blown away by it. Perfectly acceptable but without much depth of flavour - fairly non-descript. Amber colour, smooth on the palate but the finish could be more bitter.

Dark amber in color. Strong malt aroma. Starts very sweet, goes mildly bitter. Satisfactory, but too sweet.

Van de tap in een pub/restaurant in Londen. Amberkleurig, weinig kraag en koolzuur. In de smaak en geur kan ik wat caramel herkennen. Standaard ale.
