DruncanVeasey (7316) - NUNEATON, CONF N, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2011
Cask handpull, SIBA Champions Fest 2011, The Canalhouse, Nottingham. Copper-bronze, lacing white slick. Aroma of dates, figs, oranges, a snort of exotic spice: cinnamon? Flavour: not fully dried stone fruits (plums, dates, apricots), milk choc afters. Fragrant, slightly chewy...and a little bizarre. Nothing like anything else I’ve had today. Fair play to them. Liked this.

A Mes rate. Cask at the Bree Louise.
Slightly hazy amber colour with a good off white head and plenty of lace. A very pleasant bitter indeed. Slight straw, hay and pig farm. Excellent earthy malt with some hints of burnt sugar. Just the right amount of floral hoppage to balance it all out really well. Finish is so well balanced it almost feels a little dull but it lasts long enough to regain my interest. Good stuff.

Cask at Bree Louise with Sarah. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of raisin and dark grains with other dried fruits. Flavor has notes of raisins and dried fruits with a bit of bread backing.

lusikka (6575) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 29, 2013
Draught @ Naamat, Tampere.
Pours a cloudy dark brown and creamy head. Aroma of grass, gooseberries and some sour notes. Flavour of harsh grainy malts, gooseberries, grassy hops and sour berries. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and a harsh, bitter, sour finish. The sour notes here are rather off-putting.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 25/11/09. Copper coloured with a decent white head. Aroma of biscuit malts, damsons and some hedgerow hops. Flavour of hazelnuts, dryish malts and a touch of brambly hop in the finish. Good.

larsga (6323) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 18, 2013
Medium beige head. Clear amber body with carbonation. Roasty toffee aroma with nutty caramelly fruity notes. Dry-sweet nutty earthy caramelly taste with roasty dried fruit notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish caramelized sugar and toffee aftertaste with earthy resiny wooden dried fruit and spice notes. The finish lingers for a long time, with traces of rye crisp bread. Complex, interesting, highly drinkable. A very good beer. (0.5l bottle, Meny Oslo City.)

Handpull at The Harp (Chandos). Clear copper-amber decent frothy off-white frothy head. Herbal and slightly sour fruit aroma, a bit of alcohol. Taste follows, more intense bitterness. Slick, decent body, weak carbonation, dry oddly acidic tart finish. Not bad.

laiti (5980) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 23, 2014
Cask @ Gallows Bird ⅩⅦ Real Ale Festival
Aroma is rather fruity with some hops and caramel tones. Flavour is a bit musty with minerals, toffee and grainy tones. Also hints of caramel. Too English but decent anyway
