Lightly malty aroma with caramel and notes of fruits and hops. Hints of roasty notes too. Sweet and lightly malty and fruity with mild hoppy bitterness in the finish. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Quite well balaced and easy to drink. Light to medium body with average carbonation. A bit weak in flavour and slightly boring, but still refreshing and nice enough.

Bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of bready malts. Taste is mild sweet, butter, caramel and dough, very light hops towards the end. Light palate. Sweet bready finish.

500ml bottle. Clear dark amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way kasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy aroma has notes of Williams Christ pear, preserved yellow apple, a grainy touch. Taste is minimally sweet malty, hints of fruit, cautious herbal hoppy overtones, in the finish dry, husky.

Draught. Pours copper in color with a small head. A bit of malty nuttyness and light citrus fruityness in aroma. Flavor similar. Slightly bitter finish.

Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a deep coppery red-amber body with a small white head. Nose is caramel, red berries, hints of pepper and herbs. OK, but maybe a tad bit faint. Taste is caramel, grains, hints of burnt sugar and grass. Slightly watery palate but still OK and quite quaffable. Pretty smooth, without ever being impressive in any way.

On tap in Blackdoor. First taste a little like lager, weird. After a little while getting better with nice notes of malt and hops. Some good notes of spices.

Pours a cloudy dark brown and creamy head. Aroma of grass, gooseberries and some sour notes. Flavour of harsh grainy malts, gooseberries, grassy hops and sour berries. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and a harsh, bitter, sour finish. The sour notes here are rather off-putting.

50cl bottle, BBE 23.10.13. Poured copper color with a thin, creamy white head. Aroma is light spicy, yeasty with citrus, biscuit and bready notes. Flavor has the same spicyness, biscuit and caramel, light hoppyness. Light bodied, short light bitter finish. Refreshing, easy, decent bitter.
