Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 27th November 2012. Slightly hazy amber with thin whitish head and plenty of lacing. Richly fruity aroma with summer berries. Vibrant berry fruits dominate a richly fruity and floral in-mouth bouquet. The fruity sweetnes undergoes a transition into a bittersweet finish. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body. Nice dessert novelty ale.

Cask @ The Haymarket Bar, Edinburgh. Hazy dark amber colour, reasonable head. Sour grain malt aroma & flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Not a good one.

Cask conditioned at The Crown, Oxford with Fin & Loz. Amber with slight head. The beer quality in this pub is a little variable these days, this had quite a chemical note to it, bitter in a slightly off putting way. Some fruitiness, but not in the greatest of shapes.

Cask, handpump, Chequers, Oxford, Friday 14th September 2012 Dark shimmering gold with a wispy white head. Not as good as the Harviestoun Wild Hop IPA but still decent. Some sweetness carries, a light fruity orangeyness, bitter at end the sweetness goes onto a dry finish. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.4

Handful at The Ship (Monument). Clear bright gold with a large frothy near-white head. Odd but pleasing aroma - honey, light grass, a little sour lemon and wonderful REAL lavender floral light bitterness. Taste follows, but more like a soft Belgian Golden Ale with lavender - just a touch of alc - MAN I am digging this. Soft mouth, mild carbonation but quite airy, quick floral and toffeeish sweet finish. Very delicate, would definitely have this again.

On tap @ the Haymarket. Pours light amber with a decent head. The nose has an intense herbiness and so I guess the lavender makes sense. The taste has more lavender or thyme. The palate is well balanced but the high intensity of the lavender note is a little too much. Overall, very interesting but lacks drinkability.

Cask by handpump at Drum & Monkey, Glasgow (28 Jul 12) - clear deep golden ale, creamy off-white head, fruity aroma, good temperature, grassy, fruity flavour, moderate carbonation, easy to drink

On cask at the Haymarket. Pours a golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of bready yeast, caramel, banana and grass. Similar flavours with a unique bitter hop character. Moderate carbonation and a chewy mouth-feel. Lingering floral notes and decent bitterness.
