Light hazy dark amber with a small, creamy, beige head. Aroma is pleasantly sweet, liqourice, toasted caramel and hazelnuts. Low carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is roasted, caramel, soft liqourice, a bit milky. Pretty dry finish. Lingering bitterness.

Liquorice, malt, roastiness, dryness and hops in the aroma.
The flavour is roasted malt, liquorice, dryness, graininess and mildly bitter hops. Very tasty. Nice.

A moderately strong dark beer with subtle aroma of roasted malts. Plenty of tan coloured head and a smoky malt flavour with a minor chocolate finish and after taste. A pleasant drink and classic style porter with not much adaptation which is refreshing as some brewers have adapted this style too much, it is nice to go back to basics.

very attractive deep ruby garnet with fluffy crema head. Toasted coffee malts and sweet biscuit on the nose. Slight malt astringency at first develops into a long red berry finish with a touch of leather. Medium in body and low carbonation. It makes the right noises and hints at greatness but falls short of the mark in the complexity stakes of the best porters. Nonetheless enjoyed

500 ml bottle. Dark amber body with a small tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, toffee and some dark chocolate. Flavor is mild malty, slightly roasted with hint of dry fruit and chocolate, not very bitter. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. Decent, but a bit plain.

Roasty syrupy plastic aroma with chocolatey soy sauce notes.
Dry-sweet earthy roasty honey taste with plastic notes.
Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy roasty plastic
aftertaste with syrupy honeyish notes. Nice, drinkable, unusual,

Pours a dark brown colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, lactose and some sourness. Flavour of roasted malts, sour berries, lactose, grassy hops, leather, bubblegum, bitter chocolate and some bitterness. Medium bodied and rough mouthfeel. Carbonation is high at first, but it settles down. Weird stuff I must say.
