Bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malts and floral hops. Taste is moderate sweet malts, nutty with traces of honey and citrus. Good one.

500ml cold bottle. Orange, clear. Very watery taste with a bit of spice and vegetable in the finish. Nothing much going on here. I wasn’t expecting much, and I was disappointed despite low expectations.

Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a golden pale body with a tiny white head. Aroma is mild floral tones, herbal-citric touches, hints of pale malts and light berry notes. Taste is floral grassy tones, citrus, pale malts and smooth biscuits in the back. Medium to thin body and medium to low carbonation. Very smooth bitter, verging on the blonde ale category.

500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.2%. Golden colour, large white head. Aroma of grassy and citrussy hops, with some unusual and interesting spicy notes in the background, also a hint of tobacco. The flavour is fairly dry, with distinct hops throughout, herbal and spicy notes, ending in a little fruity sweetness. .

Light amber to dull golden body with carbonisation bubbles rising towards a swiftly reducing head of white foam.
Yet another golden brew with citrus notes running straight through it, were my first thoughts: they however changed as I drank the beer.
Crisp, refreshing and fairly bitter, the citrus feel getting less and less, with the bittering hops taking over from the aromatic ones once you get into the pint. This is a complexed brew and although I’m tiring of citrus based golden beers this is a lot better than most.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some caramel and light tropical - floral fruitiness and light hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, some caramel - light toffee, light floral fruitiness and light citrus hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish, light caramel and toffee with light floral fruitiness, some citrus hoppyness. Well hopped bitter. Caramel/toffee and floral fruitiness just do not go along with bitterness.

50cl bottle from Citymarket, Vantaa. BBE 11/13. Clear golden, thin bubbly white head. Biscuit malty , nutty, fruity aroma. Flavor has biscuit, malt and citrus. Unfortunately quite harsh finish. watery. Easy to drink though.

Hilpeä hauki, tap. Clear orange with a white head. Aroma: Malt, biscuits. Taste: Medium sweet, mild bitterness. Palate: Medium body. Easy and tasty.

Draught. Yellow hazy. Nose is very cidery yeasty. Some rubberboots, some apples. A touch of green hops. Body is lightish. Easily drunk. A strange one.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, plastic, spicy, ginger notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sharp, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120807]
