We brew Wandle Ale using traditional methods and materials sourced locally from English producers. We are proud to use Maris Otter malt from Warminster Maltings, one of the few remaining floor maltings in the country. We use a combination of traditional Fuggles and Goldings hops varieties, together with the more modern Boadicea hedgerow variety to flavour our beers. All of the hops used in the brewing process are whole leaf which give Wandle its distinctive hoppy taste and aroma. At 3.8% abv Wandle Ale is a well balanced thirst quenching session ale.

Tap somewhere in Marylebone London. Amber with a small head. Bitter, full bodied for such low ABV. Nice ale

#7 - Bitter, nice bitter, but no better than a 5. The has made me realise that a lot of the beer on offer is very bland, more effort seems to go into the marketing of these beers, such as the name, design of tap / bottle, than actually the brewing.

Cask. Clear golden/amber colour. Nice white head. Not much going on aromawise. Some maltiness and a touch of honey maybe. Malts and sweet dark sugar notes. Slight bitterness. Pretty average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.5l bottle. This is a crystal clear golden one with a small light islandy just off-white top. The nose has citrus, it’s on the light floral side. The mouthfeel is soft and oily while the carbonation is average. In the taste: More citrus, some zest, it feels fresh, clean and actually somewhat good. Easy and lightdrinkable. 27.04.2013

Cask, Skinners Arms, St Pancras. Goldn thin but lasting white head and fine condition. Gentle sweet caramel and a peppery hop note in the nose, pleasing hoppy spiciness in the mouth with a biscuity maltiness and traces if caramel and a trace of phenolic smokiness, lingering caramel and delicate hop bitterness
