Grovlam (3198), Copenhagen, Denmark Dec 5, 2007 #31 [Blind tasting session @ Papsoe 30-11-2007] Average beige creamy head that mostly lasted. Muddy pale brown color. Fair lacework. Grain, bread, caramel. Over the palate light notes of dried fruit and dusty hay. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with a hint of acidic. Sweet fruity and herbal finish. Ungstrup (11354), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 4, 2007 Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of cinnamon and pumpkin. Thanks yespr for sharing this. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 3, 2007 Bottle.
Hazy amber coloured with an off white head.
Aroma of grass, yeast, malts and caramel with notes of fruits.
Flavour of malts, caramel, spices and fruits.
Fruity and spicy finish. Papsoe (10285), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 10, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy, amber golden with a creamy, beige head. Sweetish, caramellish nose. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel and a little low in carbonation. There’s some sweet caramel there and a touch of yeast. No bitterness whatsoever. 301107 Maria (4344), Thisted, Denmark Mar 1, 2008 This beer floods out of the bottle upon opening, it’s dark mahogany and the head is loose. The mouthfeel is very carbonated and soda-like. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel and the flavour has a light sweetness, notes of malt, caramel, raisin and a light, citrussy bitterness. Not bad, not good - just very average.
