Tap... Poured hazy golden yellow with a white. Floral nose. Very bread-like, floral hops. Some traces of diacetyl towards the end. Moderate carbonation and an easy palate. Grassy, floral, honey malt sweetness. Vibrant finish. Meh.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(22 oz. (best before 6/12) from Bootleggers) Hazy gold body with probably a hint of amber. Solid four fingers or so of slightly off-white head that leave sloppy traces of foam along the inside of the willibecher as they recede. Aroma is malty in the fore - caramel and vanilla, with some traces of lightly piney hops as head recedes. Mouthfeel medium-full, slightly rough, with bits of dry prickliness. Flavor of caramel-vanilla maltiness, slight bit of hay and honey, but a little weak. Mild bitter pinch in the finish. OK but less than dazzling.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. slightly hazy bright yellow gold with a lively white crown that retains nicely. Aroma is floral and grassy, initially bringing to mind fresh cut cucumbers for some reason, but then becoming more perfumey-floral and grassy. Nice biscuity malt in the truest sense of the term, complimented by an assertive hop presence, dried field flowers and grass, light lemon. Mild greenstick bitterness in the finish. There is way more to this beer than I expected! Very very good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Unfiltered hazy orange-yellow-amber hue. Bone white foamy head with tight bubbles nice Belgian lacing. Really cloudy unfiltered look.
A big dose of fresh grass and vegetable fiber. The bouquet is floral and perfume. Delicate noble hop aromas meld with tart citric and chamomile. This beer has the typical Sam Adams profile of pale malts but backed by very sweet sugary honey malts.
The taste is recognizably hoppy and faintly bitter but has a nice dimension of sugary honey. Refreshing but full flavored blend of grassy and floral noble hops which hit with a sharp quick bitterness.
This beer has definite flavors but is also subtle in every way. It has a medium mouthfeel with a definite grain and grass feel. The hops are short and bitter with a crisp dry finish.
A smooth drinkable lager. This is a nice spring beer. It gives me an impression of fresh green plants and festivities.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2012 Tap. Cloudy orange gold color. Foamy pillow like head. Nose of floral hops, bready malts, and fruity citrus. Flavors range from bready, spicy, and fruity, with citrus and banana. Nice hop finish, but its softer. Very well balanced and something I was not expecting.

Appearance: slightly hazed golden color, with a nice rocky white head. Aroma: citrus, honey, a bit of cracked wheat. Taste: cream of wheat, lemon and orange zest, a bit of honey. Finish: crisp, slightly tangy. Notes: Trying very, very hard to be Bell’s Oberon, and JUST missing. Extremely drinkable
