3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy golden with a solid white head that shows staying power. Aroma is light, yet very pleasant...flowery hops, honey, sweet malt...nicely done! Flavor starts slightly bitter with some citrus hops coming to the forefront, and then turns sweet mid-drink with the honey and malt prevailing. Palate is nice for the style...there’s some body to this one, but it stays mild enough to complement the flavor/aroma. I found this to be a very good lager and one I would actually readily go to in season - one of the better things I’ve tried from SA in some time!

I was pleasantly surprised by this seasonal brew from a bottle. Definitely citrusy and floral, but not overdone. Great summer beer!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
pours hazy pale golden with a creamy white head, good retention and lacing. very fruity and spicy, herbal, lightly toasted and crisp malts, citrus - mainly lemons, lightly boozy. average to soft carbonation, light body - oily, decent somewhat bland short but fairly present herbal finish. quenching. very nice offering, style-wise.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark Cloudy Orange Color. Nose gives off some pretty strong yeasty and bread notes. Likewise the flavor also has a strong yeast/bread notes followed by some sweet malts. Body is light with mild carbonation. This is a good beer to just sit down and drink or to take with you golfing. It’s simple, yet vibrant flavor, and easy drinkability make this a good all-around beer

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy pour, aroma much like a hefeweizen, with a strong clove presence. Solid consistent flavor, better than previous Sam Adams Spring seasonal offerings.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 fl oz / 355mL bottle into a Sam Adams glass.
Aroma: Pretty malty, slightly sour, and subtle hops.
Appearance: Cloudy yellow with a soapy white head. Head dissipates a bit, and then a tiny bit stays.
Taste: Some sweet malt. Call me crazy, but I think I taste a little apple. Nice hops; not overpoweringly bitter, and they compliment the malt.
Palate: Good body, but not very heavy. Lingering warm finish.
Overall: Pretty good beer! Nice and refreshing. It’s pretty direct; it’s friendly.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
pours a dark yellow, almost a golden color with a nice fluffy white head. the aroma is citrus, and floral. the flavor is sweet with hints of honey and some earthyness. The plate is sleet up front finished with a semi-sweet flavor left in the back. Overall I would recommend this if you are in the mood for a lighter beer.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2013 A nice touch of hops livens up this lager. Color is hazy golden with a small, creamy head. Aroma is hops and lemons, taste is the same with some butter. This is a pretty good beer from Sam Adams....

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a honey gold with a white, creamy head. Strong head retention. Orange and lemon zest and banana bouquet. Soft, slick mouthfeel with prevalent citrus. Finishes with a mild lemon banana. Fun, summery beer. Could Boston Brewing actually be answering the call of their years long undeserved hype?

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Cloudy orange beer, seems to translate to a citrusy finish. Would not suggest for a session beer, but one or two would be good during a spring bbq.
