Malty, citrusy aroma with creamy head when pourd from bottle. Great easy drinking everyday beer.

Pours hazy gold with a good lasting head. Smells of, citrus, floral, herbs, earthy, clove. Taste is not very bitter. Hearty and yeasty earthy taste from being an unfiltered beer. Finishes a bit dry and refreshing. Very drinkable. Damn good beer.

I looked at this beer as a Golden Cream Ale. Very creamy, smooth, and sweet. I get a lot of honey flavor and a nice addition of citrusy flavor from the hops.

Comes out of the tap a hazy, opaque golden with a thick, fine-bubbled, pale golden head. Aroma is not strong but is still inviting, with fruity and malty notes. Fruity flavor has notes of malt, apple and yeast with hints of hops and wood. Firm-bodied texture is strongly fizzy and leaves a nice woody, tingly finish.

Bottle drunk in Bryant Park. Pale golden hazy pour with a thick white head. The nose is softly spicy with a little bit of fresh floral hoppiness as well. Fresh and well integrated with a lot of soft floral character over some fresh doughy malts. A little bit of lingering bitterness. Really lovely stuff.

On tap at the Firkin at the Tannery in Kitchener. Very cloudy, pale gold with a large white cap. Aroma is bursting with Germanic hoppy-ness, with a touch of pils malt. Flavour is just so perfectly balanced between the sweet pale and pils malts, dry yeast, and bitter hop bite that it almost defies words. Especially on tap on a hot day, this stuff is unbelievably good. Body is lightish, and the carbonation didn’t bother me. It was so good I endured the goddawful service at the bar to get more pints of it after the waitresses gave up on the table I was at. A great example of how a craft brewery can get large and yet still produce fantastic stuff that travels well.

Great beer for spring. Not a heavy floral aroma like some unfiltered, citrus beers (which is fine by me). Beautiful color.

Aroma is bread and hops, with this being unfiltered adding a quality to the aroma, not sure how to describe. The flavor is definitely a mix of styles, the pale maltiness of a heller bock, the breadiness of a helles and a medium smoothness of an unfiltered lager. Not sure how to describe this or the other three in the variety pack, all including this were pretty good.

Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thick head of white foam on top. Nose is wheat, citrus and coriander. Very creamy on the palate, this flavorful beer imparts a lightly roasted grain flavor along with a hint of citrus that is lightly hopped. Pairs well with light cheeses and crackers.

In my best Harry Caray voice "Holy Cow". I honestly had a preconception that I would not like this beer. Pours a nice cloudy haze. I can’t stand too much citrus and this once has probably the perfect balance of just a touch for me. Smooth taste and not linguiring after taste. Best brew I’ve had in a long time!
