Bottle courtesy of James, thx. Light muddy brown pour with a lot of murkiness and lasting whispy head. Aroma is faint tart berry and an airy acidity. Light mouthfeel with a palate of subtle raspberry and a vapory finish. Very subdued and keeps me sipping to look for more.

750 ml bottle. Pours red with a short lived, frosty, white head. Aroma is of sour wine, funky yeast, cherry, hints of caramel. Body is full, crisp and creamy. Cherry, caramel, yeast, woody and vanilla notes fill the mouth. Finish is short, semi-sweet. On a sweet side, but very pleasant brew I liked.

Had this beer at the 4th Annual Casanova Beer Cave Festival. Had a sweet cherry flavor, didn’t care for it.

Very very pleasant beer! So much cherry flavor and aroma in this guy. Not quite on par with NG Bourbon Barrel Kriek or some imports, but not too shabby.

Very good kreik beer. If you like the taste of tart cherries, you should love this beer. I’ve had it twice and it hasn’t been a let-down. Now of course, many will say that "beer isn’t supposed to have fruit flavors" well nuts to that. This is definitely something to enjoy on a hot summer day. Hey, Berliners put things like raspberry syrup in their weissbier in the summer! Very good brew.

Poured ruby red with a huge fluffy light beige head. Had to wait for the head to subside before I got any appreciable aroma. Mild cheery aroma with some acetone notes as previously stated. Flavor was slight acetone, cherry, not as sweet as I thought it would be. Good beer.

Initial aroma is of a medicinal cherry note, just a hint of acetone and the slightest yeast funk. Pours a very hazy chestnut red/brown with a moderate bubbly tan head. Drinks sweet with the acetone noted again. May be the cherries giving that character and I am just not familiar with their specific flavor. Don’t really catch the oak. Does hint at some tartness. Nice brisk carbonation. Good beer. Maybe a little thin.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2012 Very good beer. Beautiful amber to deep reddish color. Palate is strong cherry flavors at first with the taste lingering till the flavor disappears. Aroma is also cherrys, so if you love cherries which I do you will thoroughly enjoy this brew.

Thin off-white head of fine bubbles. Nice tart cherry aroma with some spices, sweet malts and roasted grains. Color is a dark mahagony. Wow, really nice and soft cherry flavor in this brew. Only a slight tartness late swallow. Lots of sweet malts, some candi sugar and some lightly toasted grians. Mouthfeel is a little on the flat side with a minimal alcohol presence. Very easy drinking with only a slight tartness. A very good fruit brew.

Pours with a distinctly reddish hue and a thin head. The aroma is pure fruit (specifically cherries). I don’t know if it’s just me or what, but I expected this to be sour. The flavor was a mildly tart, but way too fruity cherry. Couldn’t get through much more than 1 oz. Not exactly a "drain pour", but if I opened this to drink by myself I’d be in trouble.
