2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
750 mil bottle shared by Bruce at Mike’s, cool, tulip. Murky brown pink with a thin white rim. Lots of cherries, a little cough syrup, a bit of wood, sweet, maybe a touch estery, not bad. Medium body, gentle effervescence. Pretty strong sweet cherry, cherry pie, a touch medicinal and woodsy, sweet; sweet wish minimal bitterness and a strong cherry, slightly caramel finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared at the Richmond Industry Gathering. Pours a hazy copper color with a thin creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of berries, earth, nutty notes. Mildly tart. GThe taste is earthy, cherries and raisins. Medium bodied. I’d agree with fruit beer as the classification here. Not really a kriek, but not bad.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Split a 750ml bottle of this with a bunch of co-workers. Poured a red-pink hue, with a light pink white color. Aroma was cherries, some light brown sugar notes, vanilla oaked notes are there, but quite subtle. Mouthfeel is thin, flavor is sweetness, cherry red notes.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
slight reddish amber, thin head. Cherries come thru on the nose with some sweet marzipan. Overall it’s a fairly ready drinking number. Not offensive but not really big, bold and exquisite like you’d think...

Pours with a very thick, brown head. First sip is very balanced, a slightly sweet cherry taste with a little tartness. The sweetness lasts for a while after the tartness has disappeared.

Pours a dark reddish brown with a small off white top. Aroma is mild cherries and a slight oak. Taste is a nice deep cherry flavour with a small funk and earthy oak. But as my wife would say, "Not enough cherry"

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle shared with Andrew, Brendan and Dubra. Pours a deep hazy amber mahogany body with thin off white lacing. Aroma is sweet cherries, cherry pie, sour dark fruit, prune, raisins and light oak. Mouthfeel is a bit thinner than preferred, with notes of prunes, watery balsamic vinegar, light cherries. The flavor just wasn’t there for me.
