COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams New World Tripel: Pale gold in color, this ale is big, flavorful and complex. A special Belgian yeast strain adds tropical fruit and spice notes to the crisp dry ale, while Saaz hops add a subtle herbal note.

This wasn’t as good as I was expecting. A dry finish and a very light palate with too strong of a spice character.

Aroma is sweet, floral, slight cinnamon, mango and banana. Head is white. Very active carbonation, champagne-like. Taste is sweet, mild yeast, banana, bitter-hoppiness. Palate is banana, bittersweet, mango. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It’s weird Sammy usually puts out good stuff. I don’t get this? What were they going for? The alcohol is too overwhelming and takes away from the spices that are the trademark of all Sammy brews. I love brews, but with this it is almost like you’re drinking a cocktail! And the crazy thing is I drank a brew from the Ska. Brewing Co. with the same ABV and it was much more refreshing! I say "Pan This!"

How many characters does one need for "eh?" Underwhelming tripel with nice appearance but fails to deliver on taste. Thin.

Pours great very cloudy unfiltered look. Low to medium head. Smell is tropical fruity. Taste is slightly bitter but finishes sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

25.4oz corked bottle - pours slightly hazy golden orange with three fingers of offwhite head. Nose is spicy and yeasty - reminds me of la Fin du Monde. Flavor adds bread and peels from some citrus fruit. sweet. Can’t really detect the booze in here. A good example of the style but this leaves a weird aftertaste which is probably from the oak barrels. A great value. Very carbonated at first but so-so as it warmed.

Ok. Hazy amber with white head. Aroma is bounce dryer sheet. Taste is apple juice with bounce dryer sheet. I like bounce dryer sheets, but...

Part of a 750 ml bottle from LCBO, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. GUSHER.

App.: Amber with some floaties and a small white head. Aroma: Very sweet, some earthy and citrusy coriander, light pome fruit, a little grassy hops, some light yeast, a bit of alcohol, sweet honey and biscuit. Palate: Medium+ body, full, creamy effervescence. Flav.: Alcohol and old apple juice, some orange peel, a touch of yeast, more alcohol, slightly spicy, biscuit, honey; sweet with low bitterness, plenty of alcohol and a very sweet, fruity finish.

Not really a success for my palate. Regret opening the bottle...

Bottle with @beerapostle, thanks for the pour! Really solid style tripple style, nice aging mellows the abbey a little, and for 10% it is very balanced. Good palate, nice spice!
