COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams New World Tripel: Pale gold in color, this ale is big, flavorful and complex. A special Belgian yeast strain adds tropical fruit and spice notes to the crisp dry ale, while Saaz hops add a subtle herbal note.

GABF, 2012. Gold color. Heavily carbonated. Very well hopped for a tripel, without turning into one of those Belgian IPAs like Chouffe Houblon. Some sugar in there but a dry, yeasty finish. Good flavor, good hops.

$10 from Perfect Pour. 750 ml brown cooper’s mallet shaped bottle. Corked & caged. No freshness date seen. Loud pop releases cork. Poured out a bright, sunny color. Huge white sticky head on it. Left tremendous lacing down the sides of the glass. Aromas are floral, fruity, notes of pomegranate and pineapple. Forbidden fruit yeast is there too, along with a slightly grassy smell. Flavors are of floral fruits, yeasty bread, slight banana. Malty backbone hides the alcohol well. Creamy mouthfeel, almost chewy. A well made beer by any standard. A definite buy again type of beer.

High alchohol beer but you wouldn’t notice. Head dissipates quickly and has a hazy colour. Herbs and spices add a nice refreshing flavour.

It is a very hoppy flavoured beer that leaves a bit of an after taste. Goes down smooth and after a few sips you can start to taste the sweet taste of fruit and spices ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: malty and fruity with yeasty notes: Flavor: yeasty and peppery with carmel, fruit, pepper, and earthy notes. Appearance: Obnoxious, read awesome in this case, because the hazy golden liquid is topped with a stay-through-the-drink white, foamy head. Palate: lively, fizzy, carbonated heavily. The neck tag was almost accurate minus the above corrections. Actually the above rating is a completely objective opinion in lieu of the neck tag. its up to you to decide if you want to drink this or not. i would. but then again, i never have before, so go figure.

Overall delicious tripel by Sam. Fruity, yeasty, bready aromas. Frothy head like Duvel when poured properly. Alcohol is well hidden, taste of citrus, bread, yeast. I think this might even pass as a domestic tripel if tasted by a Belgian...

This pours a golden yellow color with a fluffy off-white head. The scent is strong with yeast, tropical fruit, banana, and bready tones. There is a really decent amount of spice taste that mixes well with fruit. Overall this is sweet tasting, full bodied beer that really delivers a quality taste while filling you up. Also leaves behind great lacing.

On Tap. Pours a crisp clear cold with only a slight head. Aroma is fruity with banana notes. Tast is more of the same with some spice notes apparent as well. The higher ABV is not really detected. Nice offering from Sam Adams.

Poured from bottle, cool looking bottle by the way, pours a pretty clear golden with a thin white head and nice lacing, aroma has a nice amount of spice and yeast with a hint of hops as well, the flavor has some nice oak touches on the front end with some fruit in the finish, nice mouthfeel in the finish, the abv is well hidden, pretty impressed with this.
