pours golden with a big foamy head.very little lacing around my trappist glass.aroma is malty with banana, bubblegum.lemon zest and the oak is not as present as i though it would be.flavor is a little peppery with bubblegum coriander, banana and mango.full body with moderate carbonation and a slight bitter finish that ends with a hint of oak.pretty good triple but the oak is not as present as it should be.almost none in the aroma and the oak seems to be more noticable in the finish.overall its solid

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear deep golden with a gigantic eggshell colored head. The head dissipates with a soap sudsy look. Belgian golden ale nose with spice muted by the oak barrel. Moderately heavy mouthfeel with a slight carbonation burn. Vibrant flavors. Drinks like a Belgian strong ale with the bubblegum and spiciness of a tripel. Some tropical esters.

25.4oz bottle 11/13/15 (Sam’s Club Variety Pack)-38° in Tulip-Pours a pale gold with a big white head and lots of carbonation. Aroma of yeast, citrus, and fruits. Taste of the same with a bit of alcohol and more fruit(apple and pears). This medium bodied brew is not bad and pretty darn tasty.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours copper with a fluffy white head. Aroma is apples, pears and Belgian yeasts. Lots of belgian yeast in the taste, some apple again, some vanilla notes too. Lively fermentation but a nice take on a belgian classic.

Bottle. Orange gold with a big white head. Notes of apricot, spices, banana and caramel. It has a nice sweetness that covers the alcohol in the back end. Very enjoyable on a raining evening.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours golden with a nice head. Smells like it should with a nice spice aroma. The Belgium flavor is on the higher end, and the spices are nice. The spices taste like ommegang mixture. Overall a nice flavor.
I had this from a 22 ounce bottle.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
New World Tripel is generally considered the most-complimented brew in the Barrel Room Collection, but I purchased it for a different reason. I, er, thought the bottle was really cool. No regrets. New World is a lovely take on the Abbey Tripel. And I do mean lovely. New World pours amber-gold. Body is hugely effervescent and the tight-bubble head likes to hang around. Aroma showcases banana and other fruity esters, earth, and candy-like malt. Flavor is tropical, spicy, oaky, and malty. The bitterness from the Saaz hops is minimal. There are some fairly aggressive Tripels out there; New World isn’t one of them. This is a bold, classy, and boozy Belgian adaptation.
