COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams New World Tripel: Pale gold in color, this ale is big, flavorful and complex. A special Belgian yeast strain adds tropical fruit and spice notes to the crisp dry ale, while Saaz hops add a subtle herbal note.

I saw everything the previous reviewer did and decided it was interesting and creative. The beer pretty much matches the description. It pours a honey color with a ridiculous champagne like head. It is not overly heavy, no hints of dark malt. It has strong hints of peppery spice and tropical fruits on top of an acidic funky character. Although I agree it is less tripel and more saison. Alcohol is masked and also has some yeast in the flavor.

Very nice. My second from the Sam Adams BRC. Standard tripel aroma of yeast, fruit and spice. Really cool amber color with a nice fizzy head. Darker than most of its style. Smooth, weighty palate that filled the mouth. Carbonation was slightly lower than most triples, which I liked. Good blend of flavors of banana, clove, spicy malts and Belgian yeast. Good sipper.

Pretty tepid and mundane tripel here. Light maltiness, spice, noble hops, but not a great flavor.

25.4 fl oz / 750mL corked and caged bottle into a tulip glass. Served chilled. Aroma: Spices, yeast. Mild fruitiness. Appearance: Transparent dark burnt yellow with a frothy off-whitish head. Taste: Spices, honey. Sweetish fruit. Nice bright flavors. Palate: Lots of flavor, but manages to still be pretty light and refreshing. Little bit of lingering flavors. Overall: Pretty nice! Fruity and spiced, and that nice honey sweetness really makes this brew.

From a 75 cl bottle shared at home. Pours a hazy amber with an thick off white head. Aroma of citrus with notes of coriander. Flavors of oak, lemon on spicy coriander. Smooth, crisp finish.

On tap at Thirsty Monk, Asheville, NC. Pale orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma of Belgian candi sugar, bubblegum, and light citrus. Definite bubblegum and clove flavor with light notes of citrus. A hint of alcohol on the finish. Nicely done.

Sampled at Fort Worth Untapped. Poured a hazy golden color and a white top. Banana, clove, spice, belgian yeast, and bready. High carb, medium body. Oh yeah, I’m digging this one
